Hello all. This should be a place where all of us can post blogs and respond in the topics. If it's not working...let me know and I'll troubleshoot. I'm excited to start this with you guys!!
Hi all! I am here in Louisville. Finished day 2 of the grading. I got question 2 again. So, war and peace, yea, tell me it gets better! I did like the bear though!
Ok. This book has defeated me...I have read 500 pages and do not like it. The woman are all shallow and ver few of the men are admirable. It certainly chronicles the distance of the upper class, other than that, not keen.
Ok guys, I have been redoing my bathroom from the ground up, so haven't been doing any commenting here, though I have been reading. Pollack, I want to hear about the AP capstone. Maybe we want to change the way we do ours. I am certainly open to suggestions on how to improve that process! Also, I too am struggling with this book. I'm about a third of the way through it and I keep thinking that I must be missing something. Maybe it's because we are reading it in translation? The problem is that the whole time I am reading this, it makes me want to go back and read Dr. Zhivago, which I love and which I think is much better written.
Thank you!
